Class ID

Definition

Terminology

Programs should assign Class IDs when data is sent in. This helps to track class cycles occurring throughout the year (i.e., a parenting class that lasts for 6 weeks, then a new one begins the next week, that is considered 2 class cycles). Class IDS are 5-digit numbers, and the first 3 digits are your AU Program code.
o For example: If you work at program #501, teach a parenting class that begins October 1 and ends November 15, that is a 6-week class cycle and is considered 1 class cycle. The Class ID would be 50101. That tells us that is the first parenting class for program 50101 for the project year. You begin teaching a parenting class (class cycle 2) that begins October 17 and ends November 30. That class cycle’s Class ID would be 50102 since it was the 2nd class cycle for program 501 of the project year.
